THE WORCESTERSHIRE REGIMENT

THE WORCESTERSHIRE REGIMENT STABLE BELT

This was of three bands of equal width: maroon, maize and maroon, but always worn buckled just in front of the right hip, not in front. The belt was introduced about 1958, when the 1st Bn was in the Caribbean, and the first pattern was not adjustable, except by the two short straps. Later the belt had an adjustable slide. It had to be privately purchased and could be worn by all ranks, but not on any parade, including pay parade.
