FROM DRESS REGULATIONS FOR THE ROYAL WESSEX YEOMANRY

Stable belt - All ranks

Three equal stripes of blue, buff and blue. Side fastening with 2 London-tan leather straps. Straps fasten on the left side facing rearwards with the belt slider worn centrally at the front. In Barracks Dress, this is worn in short sleeve order only. Throughout their long histories, each of the antecedent regiments used a mid-blue and this is why the Regt Dress Committee chose it as the primary Regimental colour to go with the buff from the RGH.
