THE QUEENS ROYAL SURREY REGIMENT INFORMATION
I was with the reg 1964 to 68 the belt was sold in the mess bar at the HQ in Kingston Upon Thames. Most of the towns south of the river had company detachments I was posted to Chertsy. We had The 50s battle dress but we purchased the green combats the for runner to 69 patt dpm. Happy days it all came to an end when the the Queens reg was formed and I got married! (We started with SLR'S they were taken back due to shortages we ended up with Mk 4 303s. My one was dated 1944 Property of the USA they were left over from the lend lease.)
