BELT COLOURS - black and purple

OTHER INFORMATION

The Royal New Zealand Chaplains Department has a corps belt that features the colours black and purple. These are colours that have religious significance for the Anglican Church. In the church, purple is the bishop's colour. Black is the colour of the cassock worn by priests.
