CAN YOU HELP TO IDENTIFY THIS MYSTERY STABLE BELT?
CLUES
Colours are red and gold
The buckle is manufactured by Firmin and the wording on the buckle is ‘Amiri Guard’ which suggests the belt maybe from Kuwait. Can anyone confirm that the actual belt is correct for this buckle?
The fabric belt is attached to the buckle by metal staples rather than the normal stitching method. This leaves a little seed of doubt that the two should not really be together
SUGGESTIONS
The Arabic at the top says Qatar. The Amir (or Emir) would be the ruler, so I expect some kind of royal guard/bodyguard. I lived in Bahrain where there was a Sheik (for a State) and when it became a Kingdom officially the ruler became a King. Qatar currently has an Emir.
