You will see that the 1st Commando Regiment has changed both the colour and finish of the buckle as well as a change that has been described more as a correction for the Dagger. The Hat Badge and Dagger was changed roughly 2012/13 to more correctly reflect the Sykes Commando Dagger, rather than the more sword design from the 1950's.
