The same belt was worn when the Aden Protetorate Levies became the Federal Regular Army and then continued when they became the South Arabian Army, just prior to the UK leaving the Colony in 67.

The belt buckle was worn to the front by the Aden Protectorate Levies, Federal Regular Army and South Arabian Army.
