QUERY
I served 5 years I 1RHA in A battery (Chestnut troop) and all batterys A, B, E and HQ wore the blue with yellow band stable belts
ANSWER
The Royal Blue and Red belt was worn by 1st RHA between 1964 and 1970,during 1968 it was decided that all RHA would wear the Royal Blue and Yellow belt, previously worn by 3rd RHA. However it was not until 1970 that the orders were finally obeyed
